Kate Grafton

I like to view dance, movement and meditation as a healthy preventative to dis-ease in the body, mind and emotional system, rather than going to the doctors for a cure.

Dance, movement and music has always been a feature in my life. Starting out in ballet, piano and clarinet, later in my teens discovering house music and club dance floors.

Turning 30 in 2008 I searched for something different and discovered Osho’s active meditations in Pune, where I trained as a Kundalini meditation facilitator. A great method to settle the mind and relax the body.

Later that year I discovered Biodanza which took me to a deep place of peace and harmony, after some years I trained to teach and supported Niraj in the running and organisation of the Dorset (UK) school.

In 2015 I discovered another dance method called Ecstatic Awakening Dance™. I love this method as it offers a chance to really lose one’s self in Dance, Awakening natural states of Ecstasy.
